Is Fuentas available on the App Store?

Fuentas 1.0 is in beta and is not currently available on the App Store. You can request a beta invitation.

Which devices is Fuentas made for?

Fuentas is a native app for Mac, iPhone, and iPad. Available workflows can differ by device.

Which research tools are available on Mac?

Find PDFs, citation discovery, and Research with AI are currently available in the Mac app. iPhone and iPad focus on reading, notes, highlights, and citation and collection editing; the available workflows vary by device.

Do I need an account?

Fuentas has no product account system. Optional iCloud sync uses your Apple account; local libraries do not require an iCloud connection.

Does iCloud sync every PDF right away?

No timing is guaranteed. Library metadata and each attachment have separate transfer states, and availability depends on the device, network, and transfer status.

Can Fuentas find any paper’s PDF?

Find PDFs searches configured scholarly sources and publisher links. Access and licensing vary; Fuentas does not bypass paywalls.

Are formatted citations guaranteed to match a publisher?

No. Check citations against the requirements of the journal, publisher, or institution you are writing for.
